DIRECTIONS TO SEASONS BUSINESS & LEISURE COMPLEX,
QUAT GOOSE LANE, SWINDON VILLAGE, CHELTENHAM

CHELTENHAM TOWN FC TRAINING GROUND

From M5 (Bristol)

Leave motorway at Junction 11. Join A40 in direction of Cheltenham. Follow dual carriageway to second roundabout. Take left exit, into Princess Elizabeth Way. Proceed down Princess Elizabeth Way to the very end (you will see a petrol station on your right). You come to a large roundabout. Go straight over, passing a ten-pin bowling alley on your right. Drive passed the playing field on your left. You will see a turning to the left as the main road bears sharply to the right under a railway bridge. Take the left, keeping the playing field on your left. Take the first turning right, into Quat Goose Lane. Seasons is the first right, approx 200 yards along the lane.

From M5 (Birmingham)

Leave motorway at Junction 10. Join A4019 in direction of Cheltenham – nasty junction, difficult to see traffic coming from the right. Go over several sets of lights, passing Sainsburys Store on your left. You will come to a large roundabout, with a drive-through McDonalds on your left. Turn left off roundabout, (you will see MFI on your left). Ignoring all turn offs, carry on over 2 min-roundabouts, passing a ten-pin bowling alley on your right. Drive passed the playing field on your left. You will see a turning to the left as the main road bears sharply to the right under a railway bridge. Take the left, keeping the playing field on your left. Take the first turning right into Quat Goose Lane. Seasons is the first right, approx 200 yards along the lane.

From A40 (London/Oxford)

Follow road into and through Charlton Kings, you will come to some lights where the Cirencester Road joins from left. Go straight on, but at next set of lights turn right into Hales Road, keep on this road for about 3 miles until eventually you come to a T junction, which is the Prestbury Road.  Turn right and at the next mini roundabout turn left into New Barn Lane, continue on this road, up the hill until you come to a major roundabout at Cheltenham Racecourse.  Take 2nd exit into Swindon Lane go over 2 mini roundabouts and railway crossing, turn right and take the next left, keeping the playing field on your left. Take the first turning right into Quat Goose Lane. Seasons is the first right, approx 200 yards along the lane. 

From A417 (Swindon)

Seasons is on the opposite side of Cheltenham to the A417 so to avoid a complicated journey it may be easier to follow the signs for the M5 from the ‘Air Balloon’ roundabout near Birdlip. Continue on A417 towards Gloucester then take M5 north to junction 11. From here follow directions as above (from M5 Bristol).

HOW TO GET TO WHADDON ROAD, CTFC

Road Directions
From the North (M5): Leave M5 at junction 10 - follow road (A4019 towards Cheltenham. Keep straight on through Traffic Lights, until you come to large roundabout (PC World on right & McDonalds on left), turn left. About 500 yards up this road, you will come to double mini roundabout, go straight over. Keep going about 300 yards, then turn right into Swindon Lane, follow this road over level crossing and two mini roundabouts until you come to larger roundabout. Go straight over (signposted Prestbury) and the FREE matchday Park and Ride service is situated on the left at Cheltenham Racecourse. For the ground, continue past racecourse and turn right (Albert Road), follow this to the end and at a roundabout turn left into Prestbury Road. After 200 yards turn right into Whaddon Road, the ground and car park are 300 yards on left.

From the South (M5): Exit M5 at junction 11, follow signs to Cheltenham, you will then be on A40. Continue over first roundabout then at next roundabout bear right, following signs for Oxford A40. After half a mile continue over a set of traffic lights then after another half a mile continue over some more lights, bearing left slightly and continuing to follow signs for Oxford A40. Go straight over next roundabout (still following Oxford A40). At next traffic lights turn right then immediately left into Sandford Road. Continue to a mini roundabout and turn left (still signposted Oxford A40). At next traffic lights continue straight over onto B4075 (signposted Prestbury). After half a mile bear right, staying on B4075 as it becomes Priors Road. Take the next left into Whaddon Road, continue over a mini roundabout and the ground is on the right-hand side.

For the FREE matchday Park and Ride service, continue along Priors Road then turn right into Bouncers Lane. Continue to a double mini roundabout. Turn left at the first one then take the second exit at the second one onto B4348 Tatchley Lane, signposted Evesham A435. Follow this road to another roundabout, continue straight over and the Cheltenham Racecourse park and ride is on the right-hand side.

From London/Oxford A40: Follow road into and through Charlton Kings, you will come to some lights where the Cirencester Road joins from left. From London/Swindon A417: As the A417 continues downhill towards Cheltenham, passing the Air Balloon public house on the left, you will reach a roundabout. Take the first exit signposted Gloucester A417. Continue to junction with M5 motorway then head north on M5 (signposted Worcester). Stay on M5 for one junction then leave at Junction
11 and head towards Cheltenham. Follow directions as above from M5 South.

SWINDON TOWN CENTRE OF EXCELLENCE

Directions to King Edwards Place (Zurich Life Training Ground):

From the M4:

• Take Junction 15 sign posted Swindon.

• At the roundabout follow the A419 towards Swindon.

• At the next roundabout (Commonhead) take the forth exit B4192 sign posted to Aldbourne, Liddington and Baydon.

• Follow this road for approx. 1 ¾ miles and after crossing over the Motorway, turn left at the junction sign posted Baydon and Little Hinton.

• Follow this road for approx. ¾ mile (crossing back over the motorway), the entrance to the training ground is on the left between the two white lodges.

From the Midlands and North:

• Follow the A419 towards the M4 motorway.

• At the Common head roundabout, take the second exit B4192 sign posted to Aldbourne, Liddington and Baydon.

• Follow this road for approx. 1 ¾ miles and after crossing over the Motorway, turn left at the junction sign posted Baydon and Little Hinton.

• Follow this road for approx. ¾ mile (crossing back over the motorway), the entrance to the training ground is on the left between the two white lodges.

DIRECTIONS TO THE EXETER CITY AFC CAT & FIDDLE TRAINING GROUND SIDMOUTH RD, CLYST ST MARY, DEVON

Leave the  M5 at JUNCTION 30.

If you’re exiting the M5 SOUTHBOUND, at the roundabout take the FIRST  EXIT towards SIDMOUTH & EXMOUTH A376.

If you’re exiting the M5 NORTHBOUND, at the roundabout take the FOURTH EXIT towards SIDMOUTH & EXMOUTH A376.

Go along the dual carriageway for 0.5 of a mile when you approach another roundabout where you go STRAIGHT AHEAD signed towards SEATON A3052 and SIDMOUTH B3176.

Proceed on for 1 mile and the CAT & FIDDLE PUB is on the left hand side. 
Travel on another 0.4 of a mile and on the RIGHT HAND SIDE YOU WILL SEE THE ENTRANCE TO:

 THE EXETER CITY AFC CAT AND FIDDLE TRAINING GROUND

Have a SAFE journey and PLEASE USE CAUTION  when ENTERING AND EXITING the Training Ground as the entrance is just before a bend, and cars and lorries travel very fast along this stretch of road.

BRISTOL ROVERS FC – Golden Hills training Centre,  BS6 7XW

Exit M5 Junction 16 (signposted Filton)

At the motorway roundabout A38 towards Bristol and Filton, Remain on the A38 Passing through Patchway and past Filton Airport, which is on your right. After 3.4 miles immediately after passing the Gloucester Arms Pub on the left and the Territorial Army Barracks on the right.  Turn right into Kellaway Avenue

Continue along Kellaway Avenue for half a mile and turn right at the second set of traffic lights. The ground is immediately adjacent to Tesco Supermarket .

AFC BOURNEMOUTH - Chapel Gate, East Parley (BH23 6BD)

Directions from the North and East M27 onto A31 (Ringwood / Wimbourne Trunk Road)

From A31 – Take A338 towards Bournemouth
Take 1st Slip Road on Left (after 6 miles) and follow signs for Bournemouth International Airport
Follow Airport signs along B3037 and at the airport, continue along past the airport on your right.
At net roundabout take the 2nd exit into chapel lane sign posted Aviation Park west and almost immediately the entrance in on your left

Directions from the west – A31 from Wimbourne By-Pass

After passing Wimbourne take the B£037 (5th Exit) at Canford Bottom Roundabout – signposted for Bournemouth Airport. Keep following signs through Longham until the traffic lights at Parley Cross Roads.

Continue straight over at Parley and at next roundabout, take the first slip road, following signs for Aviation Park West. The ground is on your left.

DIRECTIONS TO ELBURTON VILLA FOOTBALL CLUB GROUND, HAYE ROAD, ELBURTON PL9 8HS:

• On the outskirts of Plymouth, leave the A38 at the Marsh Mills Roundabout.
• Follow signs for City Centre onto Embankment Road, which runs alongside the river estuary.
• After approx 1 mile, follow the signs for Plymstock, Kingsbridge and Elburton onto A379. (Do NOT follow the sign for City Centre).
• Proceed along the bridge and go through the traffic lights.
• At third roundabout (Stanborough Cross) take 1st exit into Haye Road, signposted Plympton.
• The entrance to the ground is approx 75yards along Haye Road on the left hand side.

(N.B. Parking near the dressing rooms is restricted to Club staff only. All parents vehicles should be parked in the area immediately inside the front gates, or in the overflow facility at King Goerge’s Park 100 yards further along Haye Road on the right.)

DIRECTIONS FROM ELBURTON VILLA TO EGGBUCKLAND COMMUNITY COLLEGE, PL6 5YB:

• Return to the Marsh Hills Roundabout (signposted A379 and then A38).
• On approaching the Marsh Mills Roundabout, take the nearside lane and at roundabout take 1^st exit ontoA374 (signposted Liskeard, Tavistock).
• After half-mile, leave at Forder Valley Roundabout and take 2^nd exit onto Delamere Road,
• After 600 metres, at mini-roundabout, turn right into Eggbuckland Road.
• After 100 metres, at mini-roundabout, bear left to continue along Eggbuckland Road.
• After 200 metres, turn left into Frogmore Avenue. (NB: Do NOT turn left into another section of Frogmore Avenue nearly 300 metres earlier as this is a cul-de-sac).
• 100 metres, Frogmore Avenue continues as Culver Way.
• After 600 metres, turn right into Westcott Close and the entrance to the Community College is at the end of this cul-de-sac.

Travelling South

·         M5 onto A38

·         Take the exit toward Stover/Liverton/Bickington/Islington

·         At Drumbridges Roundabout, take the 1st exit onto A382

·         Go through 1 roundabout

·         Pass Stover Golf Club on your right and continue straight on

·         Pass Stover School on your left and continue straight on

·         When you reach Forces Cross Road on your right, turn left into Forces Cross Playing Fields.

DIRECTIONS TO ELBA SPORTS GROUND

Exit M4 at J47 and take second left exit A483 for Gowerton.

Proceed straight ahead onto A484.

Proceed under low bridge.  At lights turn right and right again at roundabout.

Entrance to ground is on the left.
